Project Title: Establishment of center for design, operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment for hydropower.
Project Objectives
- Installation of IEC standard hydro turbine test rig and development of turbine performance testing procedure at TTL.
Expected Outcomes
- IEC standard hydro turbine test rig installed, and turbine performance testing procedure established at TTL.
- Models of Francis turbine runners are fabricated and tested in the IEC standard test rig.
- Development of competent of human resources in the field of Hydro Turbines and Electric power engineering.
- Publications in national and international journals including conference proceedings.
